How do I use Picture-in-Picture (PIP)?

android Android

  1. On your Android device, open the Disc Golf Network app, select a video and tap Watch or Watch live.

  2. While the video is playing, minimize the app either by tapping the square navigation button or by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (depending on the system navigation method set on your device). This also works in full-screen mode.

  3. Video will be minimized to a window in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can move the window around on your screen and use other apps – the player will always stay on top.

  4. To exit the Picture-in-Picture mode, tap the expand button in the PIP window.

 

ios iPhone & iPad

  1. On your iOS device, open the Disc Golf Network app, select a video and tap Watch or Watch live.

  2. While the video is playing, tap the Home button in the top left corner to return to the app’s homepage.; alternatively close the app to background by swiping up from the bottom of the screen/pressing the home button. This also works in full-screen mode.

  3. Video will be minimized to a window in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can move the window around on your screen and use other apps – the player will always stay on top.

  4. To exit the Picture-in-Picture mode, tap the expand button in the PIP window.


Pro tips (Android and iOS):

  • Single-tap the window to display player controls (only iOS), an expand button, a close button and a settings button (only Android).

  • Double-tap the window to toggle between the current PiP size and the maximum or minimum PiP size. For example, double-tapping a maximized window minimizes it.

  • Stash the window by dragging it to the left or right edge. To unstash the window, either tap the visible part of the stashed window (Android)/arrow tab (iOS) or drag it out.

  • Resize the PiP window using pinch-to-zoom.
