What is PDGA membership and what discounts does it offer?

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is a membership organization dedicated to the promotion and sustainable growth of disc golf. The PDGA works to develop disc golf into a globally recognized competitive sport and recreational activity.
The PDGA is also the governing body of the sport and maintains the official rules of disc golf. The PDGA sanctions thousands of tournaments each year for both amateur and professional players across the World and awards bids for PDGA Majors, the sport’s most prestigious events.
Each PDGA member has their own membership number, which is used to track performance over time and identify unique players. PDGA members have access to a variety of benefits, including a discounted Disc Golf Network (DGN) subscription.

DGN offers two benefits to all PDGA members:
FREE monthly DGN Basic plan granting access to select Disc Golf Network content over the course of the season. Simply select the PDGA Monthly Basic plan when choosing your subscription.
Deep discounts on monthly subscriptions + discounts on yearly options (see below).

Note: The free plan is not offered as a yearly option. If you are already subscribed to the non-discounted DGN Basic monthly or yearly plan and link your PDGA membership, you will be automatically switched to the free Basic Monthly plan for PDGA members. You can also choose to switch to this plan from any other Standard or Pro plan as long as your PDGA membership is active and linked with your DGN account.
Note: If you want to take advantage of your PDGA discount, you must sign up directly at discgolfnetwork.com – not via one of our apps. This is the only way to get your discount. If you’re paying for DGN through one of the app stores, you’ll need to cancel and resubscribe online directly through the website.
Remember: You don’t need to be PDGA member in order to have DGN account. But, if you want a SWEET discount, maybe consider signing up.
