How can I cast the DGN content via AirPlay or Chromecast?

Cast from web browser (laptop or desktop)

a. Safari

Stream video and audio from your iPhone with AirPlay

  1. Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV 4K, AirPlay-compatible smart TV, or Mac.

  2. Find the video that you want to stream.

  3. Tap AirPlay icon on the player.

b. Chrome

  1. Connect your Android Phone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV.

  2. Find the video that you want to stream.

  3. Tap the Chromecast icon on the movie page.

  1. After connecting to the TV, tap the "Play" button. The video will be played on the television

Alternative path:

  1. Connect your Android Phone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV

  2. Find the video that you want to stream.

  3. Tap the “play” button, video will be played.

  4. Switch to fullscreen mode on the player.

  5. 5.Tap Chromecast icon on movie page.

  6. After connecting to the TV, tap the "Play" button. The video will be played on the receiving device.

Cast from iOS app

Please ensure that you have the latest version of the DGN app and iOS operating system, as well as the latest Chromecast firmware, to utilize this feature.

Note: The AirPlay button is only visible in fullscreen mode and only when the app detects there’s a device it can cast to.

Cast from Android app

Your mobile and Chromecast devices MUST be connected to the same Wifi network to utilize this feature.

Casting from the DGN app to a Chromecast device can be controlled by tapping on the Chromecast icon within the DGN app on the top right of the app, or while viewing a feed.

Please make sure that you have the latest version of the DGN app and iOS operating system, as well as the latest Chromecast firmware, to utilize this feature.
